Six Ministers to Answer MPs Questions

TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – Six cabinet ministers will appear on different Majlis committees this week to answer questions by MPs.

Minister of Energy Habibollah Bitaraf will attend the meeting of Majlis Energy Commission on Monday to answer questions by MP Abolfazl Shakouri from Zanjan on the status of dams in the country.

Also, Minister of Post, Telegraph and Telephone (PTT) Ahmad Motamedi on Monday will answer questions about a tender on mobile services, the Performance Assurance Plan (PAP) services, and WLL (Wireless Local Loop) tenders in a meeting with MPs at the Committee of Industries and Mines.

Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh is on the Energy Commission committee the same day to present a report about the recent meetings of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna.

MP Morvatollah Parto from Khodabandeh will pose a question to the Minister of Education Morteza Hajji at the Committee of Education and Research on Tuesday.

Minister of Roads and Transportation Ahmad Khorram will be on the Development Committee the same day to answer questions by MPs Elaheh Koulaei from Tehran, Karim Fattahpour from Urumia, Vali Raiat from Qa’em Shahr, Amrollah Mousavi from Khomein, Hassan Almasi from Parsabad and Bileh-Savar.

Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi will attend a meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee on Wednesday to answer questions by MPs Jamileh Kadivar from Tehran, Rezazadeh from Shiraz, and Shamsoddin Vahabi from Tehran.
